Father Of Cold Fusion To Talk About His LENR Work

by admin on April 19, 2012

Professor Francesco Piantelli is set to give a presentation about his LENR work in the 10th International Workshop on Anomalies inHydrogen Loaded Metals on April 14, 2012 inSiena,Italy. The conference brings together a group of international experts in the hope to present the results of the research and development surrounding their cold fusion experiment. The LENR workshop runs from April 10-14. One of its sponsors is Nichenergy, the company founded to market Prof. Piantelli’s LENR technology. Considered as the father of nickel-hydrogen cold fusion, Piantelli will disclose significant information about the details of his work. This is going to be very interesting because it is a public knowledge that Andrea Rossi used Piantelli’s theory in his controversial e-cat home LENR device. The Italian inventor once said that his cold fusion discovery is largely influenced by Piantelli’s work without providing further details about the whole process.

Unlike Rossi e-cat that defies the laws of physics, Piantelli’s work can be explained by known physics and mathematics. Both deliver impressive amount of heat though when tested but Piantelli’s theory does not need exotic reactions. The workshop is well-attended by respected people in the scientific and academic community like Francesco Celani and Dr. Peter Hagelstein of MIT. Aside from talks from reliable speakers in the morning, there will be afternoon discussions on topics of interest including explanations for the anomalies. It is expected that the participants will encourage discussion and provide a clear lines about the real status of their ongoing work. It is very important that they share new and further developments regarding the real progress of their LENR work. Since the failed cold fusion experiment of Fleischman and Pons, the technology has been given a bad name misleading many people worldwide. After nearly a year of silence, Piantelli will once again present his LENR work to the public.

It is, however, interesting to learn about the lectures and discussions on Low Energy Nuclear Reaction in this conference. Considering that many of the fellows are reputable scientists. The public is also curios about the possible rivalry that may come up between Andrea Rossi and Francesco Piantelli. In the beginning of his public announcements, Rossi has accepted that Piantelli’s initial research helped him come up with the Rossi energy catalyzer device. At present, Andrea Rossi seems to be ahead in the commercialization of the E-Cat. As this develops, cold fusion enthusiasts and skeptics are waiting for any research paper and announcements from the acknowledged father of cold fusion.
