In a post at the Rossi blog entitled Journal ofNuclear Physics, Italian inventor Andrea Rossi has confirmed that he is heating his E-Cat factory in Bologna with the Rossi Energy Catalyzer plants. Here is the complete text of the letter at the Rossi blog:

Dear Gaifas:
Yes, we heat up the factory where we work with an E-Cat.
Warm Regards,
A.R.
This concise answer is indeed quite interesting. Andrea Rossi did not present any evidence that Leonardo Croporation is indeed using the Rossi Energy Catalyzer plants in the Bologna factory. However, if this little piece of information is true then it is an exciting development. This simply means that the Low Energy Nuclear reactor can really be used for heating homes at this stage of its development. If the Rossi Energy Catalyzer plant can be made available to the general market, people who cannot afford to heat their homes this winter may now be able to do so. That is, if it they can pay the relatively high initial cost of the energy catalyzer device.
It has been reported that Leonardo Corporation has been taking orders for the 10 Kilo Watt energy catalyzer boilers for home use. As soon as he gets an order of 10,000 Rossi Energy Catalyzer boilers, Rossi has disclosed that it will go into mass production. It has been also previously posted that the price would be pegged at 400 euros which is equivalent to 521 US dollars. Leonardo Corporation has not announced until now the date when sales of the home E-cat will start. They did, however, provide the email info@leonardocorp1996.com where you can place an order for the E-cat. This development could mean that main reason why they have not gone into mass production is probably due to the lack of infrastructure and manpower to manufacture the E-Cat and not a question of the viability of the heat plant.
